ASRB Range Qualification. Alabama Security Regulatory Board handgun qualification, with an optional rifle add-on. This qualification is for officers who need ASRB range qualification and is separate from the three less-lethal courses offered the same week.

• When: Wednesday, June 17, 2026, 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
• Where: Morgan County Sheriff’s Posse Showgrounds, 1801 Vest Rd, Hartselle, AL 35640.
• Who should attend: Officers who need ASRB handgun, and optionally rifle, qualification.
• Pricing: standalone $50 for one platform, $75 for both platforms; each additional platform $25. Included at $0 when bundled with ALASOT6 or ALASR2A. Added to any less-lethal course in the same registration, the first platform is $0 and both platforms are $25.
• State fee: officers receiving a new license must factor the $112 ASRB personal license fee charged by the state. State fees are pass-through and never discounted.
• Qualification standard: 80% minimum, handgun 24 of 30, rifle 24 of 30.
• Eligibility: credentialed officers. In-person only.
• What to bring: a physical, current, government-issued photo ID; a current Alabama pistol permit if qualifying armed; and your duty handgun or rifle unless a loaner is arranged in advance.
• Payment and billing: pay at checkout by card, bank transfer (ACH), Klarna, Afterpay, or Cash App Pay. Payment is due before training. Certificates and scorecards are released after payment is confirmed. Enrollment is confirmed when STPA acknowledges it.
• Seats: 10, first come, first served.
