Less-Lethal Course 1 of 3. Most students complete all three less-lethal courses as one program. Each course also stands alone, so you can certify on any 1, 2, or all 3.

Each student receives a certificate of completion and a wallet credential card documenting nationally recognized STPA training. Carry and use of less-lethal tools remain subject to state and local law.

Officers who also need ASRB qualification can add the ASRB Range Qualification offered the same week. When added to any less-lethal course in the same registration, the first platform is $0 and both platforms are $25.

ASRB Handgun Qualification, with rifle qualification add-on available.

Required only for officers who need ASRB range qualification. It is separate from the three less-lethal courses offered the same week, which carry their own certificate and credential.

80% minimum live-fire qualification. Handgun 24 of 30. Rifle 24 of 30.

• Current Alabama pistol permit, if qualifying armed
• Duty handgun and/or rifle for qualification, unless a loaner has been arranged in advance
• Minimum 30 rounds for handgun qualification
• Minimum 30 rounds for rifle qualification
• All required ASRB licensing documents, if STPA is assembling or supporting the packet

ALRQ standalone handgun qualification $50 per student. Rifle add-on qualification $25 per student. ALRQ is $0 when bundled with ALASOT6 or ALASR2A. When added to any less-lethal course in the same registration, the first platform is $0 and both platforms are $25.

Officers receiving a new license must factor in the additional $112 ASRB personal license fee charged by the state. This fee can be added to the invoice when arranged. State fees are pass-through and are never discounted.
