Student Prep & Notices

Arrival & ID: Arrive 10–15 minutes early. Bring a government photo ID.
Dress (range): Closed-toe shoes; range-appropriate clothing; brimmed hat recommended. No open-carry in class.
Firearms transport: Bring firearms unloaded, cased, magazines empty. Do not handle firearms until instructed. Keep ammo separate until directed.
Ammunition: Commercially manufactured only; we’ll email exact round counts with your confirmation.
PPE: Hearing and eye protection provided at no charge (you may bring your own).
Loaner firearms: Advance notice is required if you need a loaner so we can prepare an appropriate model (Glock 17; Sig Sauer P320 (M18); H&K VP9; Sig Sauer P226; H&K P30L).
Ammo purchase: Advance notice is required if you plan to purchase ammunition from STPA so we can stage/stock. Target ammo is $15/box (50) or fair market value if prices fluctuate.
Remote sessions (eligible courses only): Camera on, mic available, quiet/stationary location, stable internet. Attendance is live; no recording. Photo ID check may be required.
Attendance & exam: Full-session attendance required; state exams require ≥70% to pass.
Communications: We’ll email your invoice & confirmation from enrollment@shieldwalltpa.com.
Discounts: MIL/LE discounts apply when eligible; up to two valid promo/agency codes can stack (no duplicates). Eligibility is verified during invoicing.
